Über Gina
I am dedicated to boosting student's confidence and making learning interactive and entertaining. I am also already an experienced tutor, as well as an academic, so I will be comfortable working with and through any challenges we face together. I am determined to help students find a way through any block we might come across.
As a native English speaker and an avid reader, I believe I have a unique advantage on the topic of literature. I am constantly reading, and my academic background pushes me to always search for meaning and significance in texts.
I also love to laugh, so I guarantee your lessons will be broken up with a few jokes. My aim is not to make you suffer through our lesson, but to find ways to make you feel more comfortable, confident and actually enjoy each session!

My approach is very individual and is heavily based on the student's needs. Each individual learns differently, whether it be through talking, writing, moving, creating, etc. I aim to find out the best way for my students, in order for them to absorb and apply the information they need successfully.
My psychotherapy background means that I am aware of how differently some people learn based on their state of mind, emotional health or neurodivergencies. I am therefore comfortable with working with people with different outlooks or challenges.
I am also currently a supervisor at an Institute which prepares students for their International Baccalaureate. I am therefore experienced in helping students not only for individual subjects, but also with time and stress management, creating schedules, setting goals for upcoming work, as well as helping them stay on track with their study plan.
My course would be suitable for students from 11 years of age until the final years of higher education.
