Über Laura
Hallo! My name is Laura, I am from Brazil and I have been a language teacher for 4 years. I fell in love with language teaching when I was only 19 and started teaching English for children and adults at a language school in Brazil. After a brief pause for my studies in Leipzig, I followed my passion for teaching and started doing it again. Since then, I am always upgrading my teaching methods and language skills. I am a Master in American Studies at the Leipzig University, and I am specialized in US-American and Latin American popular culture and literature. I have experience teaching Portuguese to German speakers, as well as German to Portuguese speakers. Throughout the years, I have helped many people reach their linguistic goals with lightheartedness and fun!

German is the sort of language that will make you see the world in a different way and open up your mind to new ways of thinking! I believe that learning a new language is much more than just grammar and vocabulary. In my classes I will include fun linguistic and etymological facts, mixing popular culture and history so that you can make connections with what you already know and your daily life. This way you will be able to apply all you learn in a practical and objective way outside the classroom. I will always plan and tailor classes thinking about your individual needs, your learning style, and your level!
