Über Rafael
I have experience teaching Portuguese, writing, and political philosophy. During my PhD, I researched the work of Hannah Arendt. I've also taught philosophy and sociology at university. I lead private and museum cultural tours, combining academic knowledge with hands-on cultural experience. Tenho experiência ensinando português, escrita e filosofia política. Durante meu doutorado, pesquisei o trabalho de Hannah Arendt. Também lecionei filosofia e sociologia em universidades. Conduzo tours culturais privados e em museus, combinando conhecimento acadêmico com experiência prática e vivencial.

I’m Rafael — a Brazilian writer, tour guide, and PhD in Philosophy (UFRGS, with research stay at Freie Universität Berlin). I invite you to explore how Portuguese intertwines with the many forms of Brazilian culture — from everyday speech to music, from regional slang to national thinkers, from Cinema Novo to old social tensions. Let’s speak spontaneously and discover, through language and imagination, Brazil and the wider Lusophone world. Sou Rafael — brasileiro, doutor em Filosofia (UFRGS, com estágio na Freie Universität), escritor e guia em Berlim. Te convido a descobrir como a língua portuguesa se entrelaça com as muitas formas da cultura brasileira — da fala cotidiana aos estilos musicais, das gírias regionais aos pensadores nacionais, do Cinema Novo aos velhos problemas sociais. Vamos conversar com espontaneidade e visitar, pela linguagem e pela imaginação, o Brasil e o mundo lusófono.
