Das future simple und das future continuous
Sowohl das future simple als auch das future continuous werden verwendet, um über Handlungen zu sprechen, die zu einem Zeitpunkt in der Zukunft stattfinden werden.
I'll be waiting for you (fut. cont.).
Unterschiede zwischen future simple und future continuous
1 Das future simple bezeichnet im Allgemeinen den Willen, die Absicht, etwas zu tun. Das future continuous impliziert eine vorherige Planung.
I'll wait for you (fut. simple).
2 Das future continuous wird häufig verwendet, um über eine zukünftige Handlung oder ein zukünftiges Ereignis zu sprechen, das Teil einer Routine ist.
Ich werde auf dich warten (ich habe die Absicht, dies zu tun).
Ich werde auf dich warten (ich habe dies geplant).
Professor Smith will be giving the same talk at the same time next Saturday (fut. cont.).
Professor Smith wird am kommenden Samstag zur gleichen Zeit den gleichen Vortrag halten (das ist geplant).
My mother will be phoning me tonight.
Meine Mutter wird mich heute Abend anrufen (wie immer).
I'll be meeting Susan next Saturday.
Ich werde Susan nächsten Samstag treffen (wie üblich).
3 Darüber hinaus verwenden wir das future continuous, um den Vorgang der Verwirklichung eines bestimmten Ereignisses zu betonen, das zu einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt in der Zukunft eintreten wird.
At 10 pm I'll be sleeping.
Um 22:00 Uhr werde ich bereits schlafen.
This time tomorrow I'll be travelling to London.
Morgen um diese Zeit werde ich bereits nach London reisen.
Wir dürfen nicht vergessen, dass Verlaufsformen nur mit den so genannten dynamischen Verben verwendet werden können.
Zustandsverben können im Allgemeinen nicht in der Verlaufsform stehen.
