Language has been one of my greatest passions since my first German class at 14.
The nuances and emotional depth that words can carry is infinitely interesting to me— which is also why I have such a deep love for literature. Over time, I’ve come to see Chinese literature as underappreciated on the world literary stage, and I would love to help bring it to life for more people through my teaching.

In my teaching, I prefer informal tutoring which takes the form of conversations in the target language (Chinese).
I firmly believe cultural messages are best transmitted through genuine and open dialogues; while this exposure also helps develop a natural sense of familiarity for the language that enables internalisation of grammar and lexical patterns.
During the conversation, I will make sure to always point out important errors and polish the expression when needed. When necessary, I will also provide a list of useful vocab at the end of the class that may be used when engaging in conversations over the same topic in the future.
