Über Federico
Federico Aguirre is an argentinian musician. He started training as an accordionist at a very young age and
currently is one of the leaders of his generation in Argentina. Winner of several international awards,
among which is the "Fidelio Award" of Madrid and the OBC productions award.
He is a collaborator of the festival "Rio De La Plata Accordionist Meeting" and also creator of his
book for musical education for children, "Viaje en acordeon", where own compositions with Latin American rhythms are compiled. He has participated as
an accordionist in international tours in Mexico, Chile, Uruguay, Brazil and Japan.
Among his work, we can find his recent album "Barrio", released in January 2020; accordion
and voice soloist album with his own compositions. He is also the creator of the original
music for the tv serie “El Otro Dia”. He has shared the stage with very important figures on
the current musical scene and has recorded as an accordion session player on 46 albums.

Accordion classes take place in Kreuzberg (Berlin), online or at student's home. The classes are mainly intended for adults and young people who want to learn music. The class lasts 60 minutes.
In the accordion classes, students work through different repertoires of popular music. I teach to develop the musical style that interests the student. Each style is learned in a specific way to achieve good performance. The lessons are adapted to the level of the student. I enjoy working with beginners, amateurs, intermediate students, and even those who want to prepare for music university.
For me it is very important that the student remains motivated, feels comfortable in class and does not learn under pressure.

Federico is a great teacher, very patient and clear when he has to explain anything. He is a professional and versatile musician (he plays other instruments too) and yet creative, which is very helpful regarding that each person has a different process for learning. He is also very kind and funny, which is a plus to feel comfortable during the class. Definitely recommended!
