Über Eralp
I am a PhD holder in Finance & Banking with a strong academic background from leading institutions such as Boğaziçi University (double major in Industrial & Mechanical Engineering), the University of Maryland (MS in Finance), and Kadir Has University. For more than a decade, I have been actively teaching finance-related courses at top universities in Turkey, including Sabancı University and Koç University, at undergraduate, MBA, and Master in Finance levels. My teaching areas include investment management, portfolio theory, corporate finance, wealth management, and CFA Ethics. I combine rigorous academic foundations with a highly structured, exam-oriented teaching style tailored to each student’s level and objectives. Outside the university, I give private lessons and teach economics and finance. I give private lessons for CFA candidates very extensively.

I am a CFA Charterholder since 2009, having passed all drei levels of the CFA Program and completed the required, CFA Institute–approved professional experience. I have been an active volunteer within both CFA Society Istanbul and CFA Institute globally. I designed and lectured the first-ever 10-day CFA Level I Preparation Program in Turkey, served as Chair of Education and President of CFA Society Istanbul, and contributed directly to the CFA Program as a Level III essay exam grader for eight grading cycles. In addition, I served as a consultant in the CFA Institute Practice Analysis Working Body, which plays a key role in shaping and updating the CFA curriculum. This gives my students a rare, insider-level understanding of how the CFA exams are designed, evaluated, and what truly matters for success.
Alongside academia, I bring extensive real-world experience from banking, asset management, and corporate strategy. This blend of theory, exam expertise, and real-market practice allows me to offer broad range finance topics to my students.
