Über Robert
I am a composer and theorist, originally from Melbourne, Australia, but calling the wonderful city of Berlin home now for 14 years. My work has been performed by some of the world's leading ensembles and soloists. I have taught composition, music theory, and music analysis at university level.

Lessons are centred on the needs of the individual students.
Composition lessons will focus on the development of new work by the student, supplemented by targeted compositional exercises and analysis of existing music on the basis of scores and recordings.
Music theory will centre on the study of harmony and counterpoint from the medieval to the romantic era, supplemented where suitable by post-tonal techniques and jazz harmony.
Lessons can be undertaken in either German or English.
