Über Hüseyin
Hüseyin Evirgen, known as Magna Pia and as member of former techno/electronica duo Cassegrain, is an academically trained and accomplished composer, producer, sound designer, pianist, teacher and theatre director based in Berlin and Vienna. He studied composition, piano, and electronic music at the University of Istanbul and Mozarteum Salzburg. For the past two decades, alongside his club oriented musical output, Evirgen has been creating electronic, electroacoustic, and orchestral music for theatre, contemporary dance, sound installations, video art, and mixed media, performing both locally and internationally.
Education:
• 1999-2005: Composition Studies, Mozarteum University Salzburg, Austria
• 1995-1999: Composition Studies, Istanbul University State Conservatory, Turkey
• 1985-1997: Piano Education, Istanbul University State Conservatory, Turkey

All courses can be attended either online via zoom from wherever you are in the world or privately in Berlin
