Über Esme
My name is Esme Wong, a Malaysian Pianist who has been teaching for over 17 years now in both Malaysia and USA. I am able to teach you in English and Mandarin as I spoke both languages fluently. I started playing piano at the age of 3 and I have been on it ever since. I loved music and it has become such an important part of my life. I absolutely love teaching because I enjoy sharing my passion with others and meeting with different people.
Furthermore, I have experience teaching in a variety of areas if you are looking for a more serious approach to piano such as learning and taking exams from Trinity College London and Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music syllabuses. I would love to nurture you to perform at the highest level through a well-rounded approach of technique, ear training, theory, and sight reading.

I have taught many different ages and levels of students throughout my career. I have worked with students as young as 4 years old and as old as 60 years old. My highest priority in teaching is to inspire creativity and foster your interest in music. I am flexible in teaching style as I value and tailor my lessons to each individual learning style and your specific short-term and long-term goals.
Music is a great way to learn about life and nurture the character of a person. I believe music helps anyone to learn about patience, persistence and diligence.
