I’ve had a really positive experience learning German with Manuel. He is patient, friendly, and always takes the time to explain things clearly when I don’t understand something.

What I especially appreciate is that the lessons are well structured but still feel relaxed and enjoyable. He adapts the lessons to my level and needs, and I feel comfortable speaking, asking questions, and making mistakes.

One particularly important and positive aspect for me is how much Manuel values my learning time. He is not only punctual, but also makes very effective use of the entire lesson. He stays focused on teaching and makes sure that every minute is useful for learning and practicing — and sometimes he even goes beyond the scheduled time to finish what we are working on.

I started working with Manuel to prepare for the telc B2 exam, for which he was more than helpful, and continued afterwards to further improve my German. The lessons are well structured and specifically tailored to the problems I face when speaking German. The lessons have noticeably improved my speaking skills and made me more comfortable in everyday conversations. I would definitely recommend him as a teacher.

Learning German is not easy, especially when you have to manage it alongside work and everyday life. I have tried different ways of learning, but with Manuel I finally feel that I have a clear direction and that I am making steady progress.

What I really appreciate is how well prepared he is. Before every lesson, he already has a clear plan based on what we have been working on and what I need to improve. We don’t spend valuable lesson time deciding what to do next we can simply start and make good use of the whole hour.

He is patient, reliable and honest about what needs more work. At the same time, the lessons are relaxed and there is always room for questions and real conversations. Looking back at where I started and where I am now, I can see a real difference, especially in my confidence when speaking.

There is still a long way to go with German, but it feels much more manageable when you have a teacher who brings structure and consistency to the process. I’m very happy to continue this journey with Manuel.

I had 2 weeks to prepare to do the SDS exam aiming at an A2. I booked daily preparation classes with Manuel during those 2 weeks. After 2-3 classes I immediately felt I had progressed heavily. Manuel has a very good technique, is very efficient, engaged and always comes prepared and provides excellent materials via different online platforms. I have now done the exam and received my results. I obtained an A2 in the listening and speaking section and a B1 in the writing and reading comprehension. These results are even better than I expected! I would recommend anyone preparing for the SDS exam to book classes with Manuel.

I highly recommend Manuel as a German teacher. I started taking lessons with him when I was around A2 level and needed help preparing for the Telc B1 exam. In about 12 one-hour sessions, he did a great job preparing me for the exam while also significantly improving my overall German.

He is very professional, always punctual and well-prepared. What I especially appreciate is that he has a clear long-term plan for my progress. We are now continuing our lessons with the goal of gradually reaching C1 level.

When I was in my last year of high school, Manuel helped me prepare for TestDAF. This is the test you need for studying at a German university. Manuel first assessed the gaps in my knowledge of German and then designed a series of lessons for me to address these gaps. I was really impressed by how organised and well prepared Manuel was whenever we had a lesson. He also provided plenty of relevant and interesting study materials and continuous feedback. He focused on the four key components of TestDAF: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Manuel also gave me a lot of advice on exam technique, and in the run-up to the test, we practiced with past test papers. As a result of this, I was well prepared and confident when I took the test. And I managed to get amazing exam results: I achieved grade 5 in all four parts of TestDAF, which is the maximum grade! (Most German universities require at least grade 4 in each part.) I was really happy with this outcome and it helped me get admitted to TU Munich, one of the top universities in Germany, for both mechanical and aerospace engineering. Altogether, I can't recommend Manuel highly enough -- he's a very competent teacher, an excellent exam coach, and it was fun studying with him!
