Über Cansu
Who am I? My professional background centers around tutoring and sharing knowledge. During my undergraduate studies in statistics, I took on teaching assistant roles, and later pursued a master's degree in Statistics and Data Science at KU Leuven (Belgium). After completing my master's, I spent a year creating both basic and advanced statistical content at an e-learning provider company in Karlsruhe. Throughout these experiences, I've been recognized for my effective teaching, dedication, and solid grasp of statistical concepts and programming. Beyond my academic pursuits, I bring a personal touch to my interactions, characterized by a friendly and empathetic attitude.

I specialize in R programming, data manipulation, statistical model modeling, and result interpretation and visualization. We can collaboratively decide on the most suitable teaching approach for you. Here are some options: For beginners, I can create a teaching plan that starts with fundamental concepts and progressively covers more advanced topics. I provide a detailed, step-by-step guide, allowing ample time for practical exercises. If you already have some familiarity with R but face challenges during implementation, I suggest a collaborative approach. In this method, you advance with the code and share the script a few days before our session, enabling me to familiarize myself with the code and find solutions. During our meeting, I can assist you in making progress, addressing issues, and engaging in brainstorming for future action points. Should you wish to focus on something specific in R programming, I can design a targeted teaching plan and we can work on it during our session. If none of the above options suits you, feel free to let me know your preferences. I am here to assist you in the way that best suits your needs. I tailor my approach to individuals at all academic levels – Bachelors, Masters, and Ph.Ds.
