And yet she recalls well her own path of learning and has a great deal of understanding for students who are still "on their way."

Danielle is a very winning personality and radiates lots of positivity. Her impulses during classes do not feel like criticism or finding fault, but as suggestions or invitations to give technical or musical ideas a try - which you are then more than happy to accept :) Accordingly, her positive confirmation of the student's attempts and progress come across as very natural and convincing.

Danielle is open to any wish or need that I bring into the classes, be it improving techniques, or improving fingerings or bowings in parts for ensemble music. Fascinatingly, Danielle never thinks etudes as separate or opposed to musical pieces. On the contrary, in every passage of any piece, she will happily identify details that can be used as a technical excercise - and never leave the musical thread out of sight.

Communication concerning class appointments is always both reliable and flexible if need be.
