Über Jorge
My name is Jorge Villatoro, I am 26 years old and I am from Spain.
I started my bassoon studies at the age of 8 years old and since then I have been training to get to where I am today.
I am a graduate of the performance degree at the Conservatory of Music "Musikene" and I recently graduated in the Master of bassoon performance under the tutelage of Marco Postinghel at the Mozarteum University.
During this time I have grown enormously as a musician also thanks to the different orchestras and chamber ensembles I have played in.
That is why while I am auditioning for orchestras to reach my final goal, I want to share all the knowledge I have accumulated during my career as a musician.

My teaching method is adapted to the needs and level of the student. I try to create a calm and friendly atmosphere in which the student can be relaxed and thus be able to play comfortably with the aim of enjoying the music.
The first classes are an approximation where I analyse the strengths and weaknesses of the student through different works and exercises.
Once this analysis is finished, I proceed to elaborate a plan by which the student will achieve the desired objective.
