Über Katalin
As you can read, I am an economic and financial historian, teaching Europe and East Asia in the modern period.
Currently I am living and working in Berlin, Germany, and eager to teach interested people in my subjects.
My teaching method is INTERACTIVE.
It means, that instead of offering a monologue, my questions could help to find answers, and the answers help me to offer new questions. That is how knowledge is built, instead of theone way teaching.
I do hope that we can have exciting and interesting meetings, and we can build a trustful, meaningful connection via the bridge of knowledge.

I am an economist and a historian, had been working for 17 years in East Asia.
I am able to teach in English the 19-20 centuries economic, social and financial histories of the region.
My courses among others including:

How Europe and East Asia interacted from the 17th century?
What made Europe developed and how the "imported knowledge" and items contributed to the European success?
What "early globalisation" means in the context of European-East Asian interactions since the 17-18th centuries?
