I offer both general and intensive language courses, as well as special courses tailored to your needs (For details, please see the list of ‘course types').
I cater to the needs of the entire spectrum of learners of German as a foreign or second language, ranging from total beginners (A1) up to advanced speakers (C2). I aim to improve students’ pronunciation and fluency, and their understanding and use of grammar.

COURSE TYPES
A. Beginners’ Course
This course deals with increased vocabulary and its use in basic conversation and/or writing. In order to achieve this, the correct grammar form of adjectives and verbs is practiced using the tried, tested and proven technique of pattern drills. With this method, the student practices using the appropriate vocabulary while responding more or less automatically.
B. General German Course
This course mixes in equal proportions grammar, conversation and the use of authentic materials (reading texts, video and audio recordings). This is a favorite choice with many and represents a healthy mixture of the most important ingredients of the language in a short form. Depending on the interest of the student, various materials are provided in advance so that they can be studied and prepared at home. During the lesson which follows the materials are discussed and feedback (grammar, comprehension) is provided.
C. Conversation course
This course is for those students who wish to learn how to express their ideas efficiently and effectively. To achieve this goal, they will need to increase and activate their passive vocabulary. Moreover, we will work together on improving fluency of speech, pronunciation, and intonation as well as correcting grammatical errors.
D. Grammar course
This course aims at the consolidation of the learned gramma-tical structures by making their use in daily conversation automatic. We will focus on the connection of verbs – prepositions, verbs – prefixes, gender and adjective inflection forms. The rules are not difficult and you will learn to use them easily and comfortably.
E. Test preparation course
This course deals with the following questions: What are the test conditions? What specific knowledge is to be tested? How much time will you need to provide as accurately as possible the oral or written responses that will be expected of you? Consequently, we will practice not only speed but also check whether your response provides the information the question is asking for.
F. The Career oriented course
Job application and/or interview preparation, presentation training. All of these include the ability to present ourselves and/or our ideas either in written or spoken form. We will go over the ways how you can “market yourself” by presenting your knowledge, your experience and your ideas correctly and in the most appropriate way. Together we will go over your CV, write your job application letter, prepare your lecture and improve your presentation style. Apart from all this, you will also acquire greater self-confidence.
G. Business and job-related German courses
This selection of courses aims at MBAs, computer specialists, technical professionals, entrepreneurs and medical professionals.
