Über Dav
I was born in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) to a Russian-Jewish family of opera artists. My childhood I spent at National Opera Theatre in Tashkent. The first musical steps I did at home with improvising and exploring piano and synthesizers. My father, conductor, and pianist opened for me the world of improvisation and playful exploring of music. At the specialized music lyceum, where I started to learn classical piano, I met two teachers, who invited me to the world of jazz and accompanied me on my first explorings in this terrain. When I was 16 years old, I orchestrated with synthesizer a whole program of songs for a known singer-songwriter and actor VladimirBagramov and gave a concert with him at the newly built Show-Theater in Tashkent.
1999 my family leaves Uzbekistan and comes to Germany. Here I study at the Music Academies of Wurzburg and Munich classical piano and cameral singing accompaniment. While studying and after finishing my education, I give many concerts in Germany, Europe, Israel, South Korea, and the USA. In my concert programs often I combine classical music with free improvisations, jazz, pop, and other styles. I worked for Carl-Orff-Festival at Monastery Andechs, Germany; MunichSymphony Orchestra; Theatre Heidelberg; Opera at the Castle Stettin. Since October 2021 I am teaching at the Academy of Arts in Stettin.
Exciting and funny game, playful exploring of music and own phantasy and creativity - these human abilities are always standing for me in the first place in music-making. These abilities I support in my students and try to give them through free music-making the approach to self-exploring, self-expression, and phantasy.

Classical music lessons are often boring, full of rules and dry theory, with no possibility to have joy, self-expression and fun of playful exploring of music. I look at first to my student and his/her longing for self-expression and fantasy. In a dialog and playful learning I helpmy students to find and open their own gate of fantasy and creativity.
