Über Neža

Hallo,
My name is Neža. I come from Slovenia, but I have been living in Vienna for the last 4 years. I come from a musical family and singing has always felt a very natural thing for me to do.
When I was 6, I started to play the violine and have played it for 7 years. Later, I decided to learn to sing.
I was first learning how to sing classical music and then switched to Jazz vocals.
I have studied at Conservatory for Music and ballet Ljubljana and decided that I wanted to continue studying in Vienna.
At MUK, I studied with Ines Reiger for 3 years.
I have just finished my Bachelor in Jazz vocals and am continuing to study my Masters in Jazz singing at MUK in the class of Anja Obermayer.
I am an indvidual that is very open to all kinds of music and can teach you about many perspectives in music - from vocal phrasing to vocal improvisation to harmony, ear training, piano, vocal technique, performing, nervous system and everything that goes along with singing.

Hello!!
My name is Neža and I'm studying Jazz singing at MUK. I've been learning how to sing for nearly 10 years - starting with classical and later, moving towards Jazz and pop vocals.
I am a very creative individual, interested in vocal technique and also vocal improvisation. I am interested in working with beginners as well as more advanced students who have been singing already for some time.

I can help you with vocal technique, work with you on singing your favorite songs, prepare you for auditions, work on jazz/pop phrasing, work on ear training and your musical hearing development, teach you about harmony and rhythm and so on.
I have some experience with teaching - I have had some students over the last 3 years and I want to help you sustain the joy of singing and performing if that's what you want.
I am very flexible, I love to ehare my knowledge and I also love to learn and am very excited of learning and growing together with you if you choose to learn from me! :)
