Dauer : 4 Wochen - Preis : 75.00€ - Ort : MittenwaldThis course is made for kids from all over Europe who would like to get together with new friends, share and learn about the exciting habits all around Europe and participate at creating a very special calendar called “In 365 Days around Europe”.
The aim of this course is to give the new media a sensible use and give the kids the possibility to get in touch with new friends, learn about new countries, habits etc. A first approach to student exchange and creating a very own project. Items the kids will benefit from (a few years ahead) at school.
We will have one private lesson a week via Skype with every participant. I speak English, Italian, German, French and Spanish, and I mean to work with each and every one of you, learn about you and help you realize your part of this puzzle project. No matter which of these languages you speak, we will have fun in one additional ‘chat together’ unit per week with all the participants.
If you speak a language which is not listed, just let me know. We will find a way.
The project we work on throughout the course is a calendar in which every one of you tells us about important events and traditions in your country. I would like every one of you to choose the most special month of the year in your place, create the calendar sheet for that month of the year 2018, just like you would like to share it with the rest of the world, and write a little description of the most important events of the year like who comes for Christmas (Santa, Babbo Natale, Christkind, los Reyes, … ;-), what happens on 30th April, 23rd June, 31st October, Easter, etc. Just like a little story telling children from different parts of the World how everything is celebrated where you live. You can make a drawing of the event of the year you like most, tell us your birthday the colors of the seasons in your place and whichever information you would like to share. Just make sure you do not send in photographs of people who have not given their authorization.
Depending on where everybody is from, it might result a little difficult to get all together physically in one place, but we will share our contacts so that you might get together somewhen and somewhere besides Skype.
By the end of the course I would like you to send in a scan of your (colorful) calendar sheet, your story written in the language you are most comfortable with (I will translate the texts for everybody else) as well as a picture of you and your signature. You will all receive a sample of the calendar with picture and signature of all your new friends from different countries.
The course will start from 4 pupils on (max. 12), beginning the 1st October 2017. You can participate from wherever you are, during school or summer holidays. All you need is Skype. The time of the lessons and the ‘chat together’ unit every week will be fixed together with you.
