Über Esther
I have been teaching German as a foreign language for about 13 years and the fact that I am still doing this job is a clear sign of how much I love teaching my language. I really put my heart into it because it makes me proud to see the progress my students make. I think it's important to help people overcome their fear of speaking and gain self-confidence. German is not an easy language, but with a bit of discipline, anyone can manage to say much more than just “ein Bier, bitte”.

You learn a language best when the lessons are tailored to your needs. That's why it's important for me to get to know you, your learning goals and your learning style in an initial lesson so that I can tailor my lessons to you.
We usually choose a topic together and I use texts, videos, audios, pictures, etc. to give you new vocabulary. We practise this vocabulary through conversations and small exercises so that you leave each lesson with 5-10 new words that you can use directly in your everyday life. Of course, it's also important not to forget to have fun. Language is a living thing, which is why I like to combine methods and teach as close to everyday life as possible.
