Über Rand
I am an artist with a Master of Fine Arts degree "Public Art and New Artistic Strategies" and a bachelor degree in Painting. I speak fluent English and can communicate effectively in German.
I am very passionate about art and enjoy sharing my experience and knowledge, very open to students' preferences and I respect their intuition and needs. I find the learning process a mutual one in the class which also encourages the student to explore more and develop their artistic self-confidence.

I provide personalized art classes to meet individual goals, with flexibility in scheduling.
The class is fun and engaging for children and adults and explores interesting stories about artists, artistic styles and art history.
If you wish to pursue an artistic career, I offer academic level classes for teenagers and students preparing to enroll in university, including insight on portfolio creation, artist statement, work description and other important concepts or skills you will need in the future.
Among what you can learn:
-Drawing: Perspective, still life, portrait, artistic anatomy, and techniques using graphite, charcoal and ink.
-Painting: Oil, acrylic, watercolor, and oil and soft pastels.
-Sculpture: Gypsum, clay, constructing objects with recycle material and coloring techniques.
-Different artistic styles using different techniques, including realism, impressionism, expressionism and abstract.
- Online classes: available for some mediums and techniques.
- In-Person classes: offered in Jena, Weimar, and Erfurt, either in public spaces or at the student’s residence.
