Über David
I have taught in various settings: language schools, including teaching German to foreigners, and coaching of school children.
I have lived in and visited a variety of countries on a long term basis and enjoy teaching people of different backgrounds and cultures.
I myself was born, brought up and did my schooling in Geneva, partly at the International School, and then at the local French High School. I completed my university studies in London and am presently studying Comparative Literature M.A. at the Goethe University in Frankfurt.
I am retired. My most recent permanent job was overseeing the Computer Lab at the Department for Social Studies in Frankfurt, where I worked for 23 years and very much enjoyed helping students in their work.

This course is adapted to your personal needs, which we will establish at the beginning of the course.
I offer conversational English, style writing, reading novels, news analysis. I also offer correcting texts you have written. Pronunciation and reading out loud are important elements of my teaching.
I myself studied linguistics at the London School of Economics and have translated several books from English to German.
I have experience and enjoy teaching all levels, from young kids to adults.
Corona has taught me that online teaching is just as effective as contact teaching. I myself offer Zoom as an adequate platform.
