Über Ian
Hello, I am Ian, a native English speaker with a Bachelors Degree.
I continued studying a PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) in England before gaining years of experience teaching in schools.
I have used this knowledge to help numerous students prepare for exams, presentations and with homework, along with adapting lessons to aid adults in learning English from beginners level up to professional English for work.

Reading and comprehension are essential parts of learning, but through fun and exciting lessons, i wish to give my students the confidence in speaking and writing (British) English as a native.
I plan and personalise my lessons to make them engaging and interactive. I use various worksheets, flashcards, books and internet resources. I also utilise Oxford reading tree and Red line/Green line.
I specialise in aiding with Exam preparation, Presentation support, Homework guidance, Conversational practice & Cultural knowledge.
My students are encouraged to speak English as much as possible, without fear of embarrassment because the more we practice the more our courage grows so I aim to make you feel comfortable and at ease. They’re your lessons so we collaborate making them tailored to suit your individual needs.
