I came to Elena as an adult student with previous experience, but also with many unresolved habits and a rather chaotic way of practising. She immediately recognised both the technical and musical reasons behind the problems. What I value most is that she does not simply correct details in isolation — she reorganises the student’s whole way of hearing, thinking, and working. That level of insight is rare.

Working with Elena changed my understanding of what piano study can be. Before, I treated technique, reading, sound, and expression as separate things, and my progress always felt fragmented. Elena teaches in a very different way: she connects everything into one coherent musical language. This made my practice much more intelligent and my playing much more alive.
