Über Mario
I recently graduated with a First Class from the BA Economics and Management at Oxford. I performed near the top of my class in both Economics and Management courses and received several college and university awards for my work. I am a passionate tutor and mentor, having tutored for over five years and worked with educators and education researchers from Harvard, the UN, and UNICEF in a professional context.
I believe that entrance to Oxbridge requires a holistic understanding of what tutors are looking for and an equally holistic preparation. While targeted preparation for entrance exams or interviews, for example, is crucial, I believe that the strongest applicants shine through a genuine interest in and aptitude for the subject. I am looking forward to getting to know you, learn about your interests, and support you in your journey to Oxbridge!

Many British universities are among the best in the world because you learn *how* to think about problems rather than *what* to think. This is my philosophy: I want to challenge you to think critically and creatively about problems in your field of interest as this is the best preparation for the admissions procedure. Essentially, my lessons will feel like a tutorial at Oxford or Cambridge: I will ask you to read up on or solve a difficult problem in advance and we discuss it in class. No time wasted for lecturing or fact dumping!
I will also support you in each step, from your personal statement and admissions tests to interviews. My main fields of expertise are economics, statistics, psychology, and sociology. Feel free to reach out to ask whether I could be a good fit to support you!
