Über GaYeon
I graduated in Korea as a Fashion Design student at Ewha Woman's University. Already 7 years ago, after I completed my high school, I started teaching and mentoring. It was then that I discovered my passion for teaching. After attending the Drawing Academy for one year I was able to develop my style and have now an extensive repertoire and understand how examanitors evaluate paintings. I taught foreigners who lived as ex-pats in Seoul but also gave drawing and illustrator classes to Koreans who prepared to apply for universities.
After my graduation I worked as a stylist in Seoul I moved to Vietnam and continued as a stylist. Later I started to work in a Korean company where I led the Marketing department with 4 people. Simultaneously, I worked as a Korean teacher for Vietnamese Idols/Pop Stars which gave me great joy. Over time I started to extend my teaching from a one-on-one basis to teach whole groups.
September 2019 I moved to Germany to learn more about this culture and to work on my photography project.

This depends very much on my students. I usually ask my students first what their motivation for improving their illustrator/photoshop/ or drawing skills. If you want to apply for a university I develop with you a roadmap so we can reach your goal successfully. If you like to improve yourself just our personal interest alone I first will show you my prior works and we discuss which direction you like to go. I am also very happy if you let me know what you did so far and share with me what you are excited the most :-) I think photoshop/illustrators but also drawing can help every person. No matter if you have your own business, work in a large corporation in the business development or just like to make beautiful things for your friends.

Gayeon war meine Koreanisch Lehrerin für mehr als 4 Monate und ich war sehr glücklich mit Ihrem Unterrichtstil. Ich hatte zuvor bereits etwas Koreanisch gelernt aber Gayeon hat sehr schnell verstanden auf welchem Level ich bin und den Unterricht dementsprechend für mich angepasst.
