Über Rafaela
I decided to start teaching Portuguese because I genuinely enjoy sharing what I know and, even more, seeing someone grow and become more confident along the way.
As a native Portuguese speaker, I can also help you learn the language in a natural and practical way, including the expressions, pronunciation, and little details that you might not always find in a textbook.
I want my students to feel that their lessons are a space where they can learn, make mistakes, ask questions, and feel comfortable being themselves. I’ll always put effort into understanding what each student needs and finding the best way to help them progress.
If you’re looking for someone patient, adaptable, and genuinely invested in your progress, I’d be very happy to be your Portuguese teacher!

My lessons are completely adapted to each student. I believe that learning a language should feel natural, useful, and enjoyable, so I always take into account your level, goals, interests, and the way you learn best.
Depending on what you need, lessons can include conversation, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, or practical Portuguese for everyday life. I like to combine different activities rather than following a rigid method, so each lesson feels dynamic and tailored to you.
We’ll usually start by reviewing what we’ve learned and talking about any difficulties or questions you may have. From there, we’ll focus on a topic or skill, with plenty of opportunities to practise and speak.
My lessons are suitable for complete beginners as well as more advanced students. Whether you want to learn Portuguese for travel, work, living in Portugal, connecting with Portuguese-speaking people, or simply because you love the language, I’ll adapt our lessons to your needs
