Über Shayan
I started playing the acoustic guitar when I was 12, then moved to electric guitar and at the age of 14 I began composition and arrangement via Cubase. In 2014 at the age of 17 I received a scholarship from Los Angeles College of Music and started my Bachelor's in Music Production and Recording where I got certified as a Pro Tools User and meanwhile, I learned Ableton's ins-and-outs after buying my Ableton Push. I've done tutoring, workshops and lectures, private and public, in person and online. Currently, I'm living in Berlin for my Master's in Creative Production in Music.

Recording engineering is all about capturing sounds and making sure everything is recorded clearly so it can be mixed later. It mixes creativity with technical skills, like choosing the best microphones and placing them just right.

Mixing Engineering (w/ brief touch on Mastering) [13]
A mixing engineer combines all the recorded elements, like vocals, drums, and guitars, into one track. They balance volumes, shape the tone, and add effects so the music sounds great on different speakers. Mastering is the final step: polishing up the mixed track so it’s consistent in volume and clarity, and ready for release. I am not a trained mastering engineer, however through years of Mastering my own material, I’ve gain the experience which I’ll sure with you towards the end of this course

Production is the whole process of bringing a piece of work up to its potential and It includes everything from planning, creating, and getting the product to people who need it. We’ll use Ableton live which is a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) known for its flexibility and the creative possibilities it offers in the studio and on the stage.
