Über Aidan William
I am a scientist with a background in experimental and computational research. I moved to Berlin to complete my Master's in Molecular Medicine at Charité, following a Bachelor's in Genetics and Genomics from UC Davis.
With several years of hands-on lab experience and multiple peer-reviewed publications, I have a practical understanding of how STEM subjects connect in the real world. My work in genetics and molecular biology relies heavily on a strong foundation in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
I tutor because I enjoy breaking down complex scientific concepts into accessible ideas. My goal is to teach students reliable problem-solving skills and to inspire them by showing how the topics they learn in school directly apply to real-world scientific research.

I provide in-person STEM tutoring in English for students from 6th grade through High School (including IB, IGCSE, and Abitur). This setup is ideal for students in international or bilingual programs.
My teaching approach focuses on core conceptual understanding rather than simple memorization. I use guided, interactive questions to help students grasp the underlying logic of Biology, Chemistry, and Math, relating these concepts to actual laboratory scenarios when possible.
A typical lesson begins by reviewing current classroom material to identify any knowledge gaps. From there, we move into active problem-solving where the student applies the concepts directly to build their confidence and competence.
