Über Andrea
Teaching has always been a passion of mine, and I especially enjoy helping students develop confidence in themselves and their English abilities. I believe that learning should be a positive and enjoyable experience, where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning at their own pace.
With my many years of experience working with young children, I bring patience, warmth, creativity and encouragement to every lesson. I also enjoy working with adults who would like to improve their conversational English, pronunciation, vocabulary or confidence when speaking.
Every student is different, which is why I adapt my lessons to suit your individual needs, goals and learning style. My lessons are friendly, relaxed and engaging while still having a clear learning purpose.
Whether you are a parent looking for a caring and experienced English teacher for your child, or an adult wanting to feel more confident speaking English, I would be delighted to help you on your learning journey.

With 20 years of teaching experience and as a qualified Foundation Phase teacher, I create fun, engaging and supportive English lessons tailored to each student’s individual needs and level.
My teaching style is patient, encouraging and interactive. I believe that students learn best when they feel comfortable and confident, so I use conversation, games, stories, visual materials and practical activities to make learning English enjoyable. For adult learners, lessons can focus more on everyday conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar and building confidence when speaking English.
A typical lesson begins with a friendly warm-up and conversation, followed by activities based on the student’s goals and ability. We practise new vocabulary, speaking, listening, pronunciation and, where appropriate, reading and writing. I adapt each lesson to the learner rather than using the same approach for everyone.
As a native English speaker with extensive experience teaching young children, I understand how important patience, encouragement and positive reinforcement are. My aim is to create a relaxed environment where students are not afraid to make mistakes and can develop their English naturally and confidently.
My online lessons are suitable for children, school-age learners and adults, from beginners to those wishing to improve their conversational English. Whether you want to build a strong foundation in English, improve your speaking skills or simply become more confident communicating in English, I will adapt the lessons to suit you.
