Über Luis
I am an experienced student counsellor for graduate students in the fields of Public Policy and Governance, as well as a trained academic coach. I work as a seasoned professional in research and academic management, where I collaborate jointly with the Social Data Science & AI Lab at LMU in Munich, and with the School of Social Sciences at Uni Mannheim, where I coordinate the implementation of the KODAQS Academy for Data Quality in the Social Sciences. I hold a PhD in Governance from the Hertie School; an MSc in Political Economy from the University of Essex, and a BA in Political Science from ITAM (Mexico).

I provide coaching to strengthen academic and research competences to write successful theses in social sciences topics (e.g. Political Science, International Relations, Sociology, Public Policy, Public Administration and Political Theory). I will help you to develop a strategic plan and timeline for your thesis activities by working on the following components: 1. Defining a research puzzle and research question. 2. Writing a literature review. 3. Setting up a theoretical framework. 4. Definition of hypotheses or research claims. 5. Research design and methodology (qualitative and quantitative designs). 6. Displaying and presenting results.
