a little bit about me: I am a Renewable energy engineer with more than 6 years’ experience in the energy industry. I came to Germany 5 years ago to do my masters here and get a job. I have been successfully working in Germany since 2020.
Job search is exhausting, time consuming and has lots of disappointments sometimes especially if you are not German and don’t yet have the language skills. In my course, I will be sharing with you my experience in the job search, help you with your CV, Cover letter and LinkedIn profile. I will even offer the emotional and moral support needed during this process. Since this is my first time to do it, if you are not happy and don’t feel like the session was useful, I will give you the money back. Here is how it works:
First session: Get to know you?
In this very first session, I will be keen to get to know you, your professional experience and your experience with the job search; what do you feel are the road blocks, and difficulty. I will give you some homework to ensure you have clarity on what you are looking for and then will ask you to share with me your CV and a sample of Cover letter to understand you a bit better and for me to check after the session. I will also ask you to share your LinkedIn profile.
Second session: Feedback on CV, Cover letter and LinkedIn
In this session, I would give you feedback on your CV and Cover letter from my prospective and we will get to enhance the together and see what adjustments could be made that also reflects your personality and makes you feel confident with your CV. We will explore as well your LinkedIn profile.
Third session: Job search and applying tips
In this session we will explore what will be the best ways to search for jobs and best ways to apply, e.g. is it enough on the web? Is it good idea to connect someone on LinkedIn etc.
Fourth session: Tips for interviews
Having been through so many interviews myself (more than I can even count ) I will share with you tips for having successful interviews and some dos and donts
