Über Sierra
Charismatic and sympathetic music teacher, specializing in musical early childhood development with 7+ years of teaching experience.
I teach face-to-face piano, voice and composition lessons in Berlin.
I received my BA in Music Composition from Seattle, WA USA and am an interdisciplinary artist in Berlin. I actively play in a Javanese gamelan, am continuing to learn the Turkish saz and Turkish/Kurdish folk repertoire, and am composing a piece for a 7 piece Early Music ensemble.

My "method" or approach always caters to the interests and goals of each student.
The world is full of vastly different approaches to teaching and learning music, and I've had the opportunity to experience many of them! Whether it's memorizing songs to sing by ear, or dictating difficult rhythms on staff paper, all of my teaching methods are rooted in living and interesting disciplines.
You will be left with more than enough to work with every week on your own after our lessons. Depending on your preferred learning method, I offer method books and recommend specific tools.
I teach:
Piano, voice and composition
Music for early learners: I offer shorter lessons for young children aged 5+ and have 3 years of experience teaching music to toddlers and kindergartners including lots of games and rewards.
I put my entire heart into the learning of my students and love what I do. Our first lesson will be spent establishing exactly what it is you wish you learn and how we can reach that together.
