Über Ixta
I am a Spanish composer and Master's graduate in Composition from the Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität in Linz (Austria), where I studied with internationally recognised composers Carola Bauckholt and François Sarhan.
My work focuses on contemporary music, interdisciplinary composition and the relationship between music, movement and text.
My music has been performed in Austria, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands and Costa Rica by different ensembles and performers including Schallfeld Ensemble, Lizard Ensemble, Stefan Obmann.
Alongside my artistic work, I have more than eight years of teaching and mentoring experience. I prepare students for conservatory and university entrance examinations in composition, harmony, counterpoint and musical analysis, and I also work with emerging composers who are looking for professional feedback on their scores.
Whether you are taking your first steps in composition or preparing a professional portfolio, my goal is to help you develop both the technical skills and the artistic confidence.
