Über Marissa
Hi! I am an American living between the US and Austria. I've been learning German for the past year and a half and it has showed me how important it is to speak regularly with a native speaker. This has inspired me to help English learners perfect their English through conversations. I have been teaching on Preply.com for over a year now with consistent five-star reviews. I've found this method of learning to be very beneficial to my students that don't get the chance to speak to native English speakers on a regular basis. I've taught all ages and would love to help you perfect your English.
I'm a recent graduate from Columbia College Chicago where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre and Marketing. I grew up in the performing arts and continue to act, sing, and dance post-graduation. In the near future, I hope to get a Master's degree in some form of education.

Who can I teach?
I currently hold an A2 certificate in German from the Goethe-Institut, meaning I do not (yet) speak German fluently. Because of this, my students usually have a B1, B2, C1, or C2 level of English before beginning lessons with me.
