Über Grace
I’m a native English speaker from the United States with over four years of international teaching experience in South Korea, Zambia, the U.S., and Germany, working with learners ranging from young students to professionals. I hold both a BA and MA in International Politics and have completed TEFL training, which shapes my structured yet flexible approach to language learning.
My teaching focuses first and foremost on building speaking confidence, supported by targeted practice in reading, writing, and listening. I tailor every lesson to each student’s goals, interests, and learning style, creating an encouraging environment where progress feels both achievable and motivating.
Alongside teaching, I work in the international development field, which allows me to support students who want to strengthen their English for academic, professional, or global contexts. I enjoy helping learners gain the skills — and confidence — they need to communicate effectively in real-world situations.

My lessons specialize in conversation and speaking practice, because in my experience this is where most learners improve the most — and what many people lack in daily life. I focus on helping you speak naturally, confidently, and comfortably, even when discussing complex topics.
I encourage students not only to improve their English, but also to think critically, express nuanced ideas, and develop their own voice in the language. This is especially helpful for academic, professional, and internationally minded learners who want to communicate clearly in real-world contexts.
Alongside speaking practice, I can support you with grammar, vocabulary building, reading comprehension, homework help, exam preparation, and professional communication skills. I can help you write and review application essays, and cover letters and find your written voice, and prepare for job interviews in English by finding structure and building expression skills. Every lesson is tailored to your goals and interests so learning stays engaging, relevant, and effective.
We speak primarily in English during lessons to create immersion and accelerate progress, while always keeping a supportive and positive learning atmosphere.
