Über Clarissa
Hi guys!
My name is Clarissa, I’m 30 years old and I’ve been teaching for several years now.
I studied English and Spanish at the University of Vienna, taught a year in Spain (adults as well as teenagers), gave online lessons in English, Spanish and German during the pandemic and worked at an international school in Vienna. For the past three years I’ve been teaching English and Spanish in Upper Austria (student aged 10-18) and offering extra-curricular activities like an English Drama Club and and English Literature Circle.
I’m really passionate about my job and would love to share my passion for languages and literature with as many young people as possible - I would love to hear from you :)

I am convinced that the most effective way to learn a language or improve one’s language skills is by engaging in entertaining but at the same thought-provoking conversations. Obviously one can’t do without studying the vocabulary and internalising grammatical structures, but communication is key to successfully mastering a language other than your mother tongue.
