Hi! I’m from Costa Rica. I’m a native Spanish speaker and also fluent in German, French, Mandarin, Portuguese, and English. I started learning languages by attending tandem meetups, so I know firsthand the best ways to build confidence and actually speak a new language.
My teaching experience focuses on helping students speak Spanish fluently and express themselves naturally, but without making classes feel heavy or boring. I specialize in making lessons fun, relaxed, and engaging, because I know that sometimes traditional classes can feel dull and discouraging.

My method is based on active recall and spaced repetition. In our lessons, we focus on everyday conversations, just like a natural chat between friends. We talk about real-life topics — daily life, interests, culture — and I gently correct your grammar, vocabulary, or pronunciation as we go.
I take notes (and encourage you to do the same) on the words or expressions you struggle with the most. After the lesson, I create a personalized Anki deck (or a similar tool of your choice) to help you review and retain vocabulary effectively.
In the next session, we briefly review those items to reinforce what you learned and build long-term fluency step by step.
My goal is to help you:
-Speak Spanish naturally and confidently
-Build active vocabulary through real conversation
-Learn by doing — not just memorizing
-Make steady, visible progress every week
