Über Heeyoung
Hi! I’m a 23-year-old native Korean speaker currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies in Innsbruck, Austria.
Korean is my first language, and English is my second, so I can comfortably teach Korean in English. I’m passionate about Korean language and culture, and I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and sharing Korean culture with them.
My lessons are friendly, relaxed, and tailored to each student’s level and interests. We can learn through everyday conversations, Korean culture, K-pop, K-dramas, music, or whatever you’re interested in!
Whether you’re a complete beginner, preparing for a trip to Korea, interested in Korean culture, or simply looking for someone to practice speaking with, I’d be happy to help you learn Korean in a fun and comfortable way.
I’m currently based in Innsbruck, so I can offer both online lessons and in-person lessons in the area.
Feel free to contact me and let’s learn Korean together!

My lessons are relaxed, practical, and tailored to each student’s level and interests.
I teach Korean in English, focusing on useful Korean that you can actually use in everyday conversations. Depending on your interests, we can also use K-pop, K-dramas, Korean music, videos, and other Korean media as part of the lessons.
For beginners, we can start with Hangul, basic vocabulary, grammar, and simple conversations. For more advanced learners, we can focus on speaking, pronunciation, natural expressions, and having conversations about Korean culture and everyday life.
I want my lessons to feel more like a conversation with a Korean friend than a traditional classroom. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to speak, ask questions, and learn expressions that Korean people actually use.
Most importantly, I’ll adjust the pace and content to what you want to achieve—whether you want to travel to Korea, understand K-pop and K-dramas better, communicate with Korean friends, or simply learn a new language!
