Gareth is a great teacher and keeps you motivated to progress. You work on different aspects of your flute playing technique step by step making it fun and digestible. I have had great improvements since I started and reaching the level I am looking for.

Gareth est vraiment un super prof. Excellent musicien, sympa, sensible et intelligent, il a tout de suite su me mettre à l’aise et trouver une méthode d’apprentissage adaptée à ma personne, à travers laquelle j’ai pu progresser à mon rythme avec confiance. Après neuf mois de cours je me régale de jouer des petits morceaux de concert.
Apprendre la flûte avec Gareth est un vrai plaisir, et je le recommande vivement !

Gareth is a great motivator and flute lessons are always fun with very good progress.
I started lessons with Gareth 5 month ago and due to Corona, we haven’t met yet in person but doing our lessons via Skype and it works perfectly for me.
I really like his teaching style focusing especially on individual challenges (my breathing) instead of having every peach of music perfectly played.
When I scroll back pages in the music book and play pieces that I played 2 to 3 weeks ago, they are suddenly quite simple.
This perfectly shows me my progress and success of Gareth teaching approach. I am really looking forward to the next lessons with Gareth to learn new things and have fun!

Je recommande chaudement Gareth ! Grâce à lui, j'ai ressorti ma flûte restée au placard pendant de longues années et j'ai constaté que c'est comme le vélo, on s'y remet vite! C'est un très bon pédagogue qui s'est adapté à mon niveau, m'a proposé des exercices variés pour (re)prendre de bonnes habitudes et des duos pour entretenir le goût de jouer. Bref, un super prof.
