Über Ozan Altan
I am a Doctor of Humanities. I am a postdoctoral researcher, a philosopher, and a natural scientist with years of teaching experience at universities such as University of Boston, University of Hannover, University of Münster, Middle East Technical University.
I have taught English in many different countries, and now I am willing to contribute to the people living in Switzerland. I am a young and energetic scholar with great eagerness for teaching.
I have studied translation and interpretation studies, and I am ready to help middle- to advanced-level learners.
I have studied at US-based universities and worked in the USA. On top of that, I have years of experience teaching at the university level. I am willing to coach students in their journey to be confident users of English. I have recenlty moved to Konstanz for family reasons and nowadays having a short break.
As I have only recently started doing this freelance in Switzerland, now you have a great opportunity to lock the price so low.

Depending on the need and level of practice, it can be tailored for the needs of the students. I encourage mixed methods, knowing that every student needs different levels of attention as well as different kinds of learning. What I offer is a general test of status and level, and then tailoring a study program based on levels.
I do not really have a specialty, but due to years of university-level teaching, I have learned to develop and adjust based on the needs of the student. What I really like is giving structured homework to enable the students to follow a task-based and success-oriented work schedule with usual checks and weekly tutoring.
That is why mid- to higher-level business and professional English, particularly for university and private sector preparation, is more my specialty. I can help you to make your conversation partners notice you in such settings.
