Über Nishika
I'm a biomedical sciences enthusiast who wants to contribute to medical science through her research, especially in the fight for a life without cancer. I'm currently looking for doctoral opportunities across the globe and plan to utilize my free time teaching what I love; biological sciences. There's nothing more exciting than understanding the life around us and within us (negotiable Lol). Moreover, as we move forward in academia, we tend to lose touch with the basics and teaching is one of the best methods for knowledge renewal.

Dear enthusiastic learners,
I'ma recent postgraduate in Biological and biomedical sciences with over 3 years of research experience in molecular biology, virology, plant biology, Immunology, immunotherapy and virotherapy labs, looking forward to an academic career in cancer research. However,and academic career doesn't always involve research but mentoring incoming students too. I've had mentoring experience as junior Research Fellow for 9 months and also as part of the Biotechnology research and information society run in my undergraduate institution. My mentoring skills haven't been only limited to academics but also to theatre where I used to run a team of 25 people. As I'm navigating my career path, I find it useful to teach in my free time and also get acquainted with the basics in these subjects again. Hence, I plan to make it a mutually learning experience while enhancing my own teaching skills. Biology has been my first love, let's make it yours?
