Über Alyona
I have studied music in three countries: Russia, the Netherlands and Austria. Originally I am a cellist: both jazz and classical. I have always been very good at theoretical subjects, and not only at comprehending, but also at explaining them to others.

Theory comes hand in hand with practice. In my opinion, complicated theoretical things should be not only explained, but, mos importantly, felt. This is my approach to teaching such complicated subjects.
Typically the lesson is 60mins long, but it could be adjusted depending on the case.
I teach classical theory by Russian school - very detailed, organised and with a lot of practical exercises. And the jazz theory by the Berklee school - I would describe it the same way.
I teach all ages and levels. Whether you are a complete beginner, or a student of a music university, I can help you improve your theory and ear training skills.

As an adult learner I was really worried about taking up Cello as my first ever instrument, but finding Alyona as the Cello teacher made the whole process really fun and easy :) she is super friendly and shows everything in a way its very easy to catch up.
