Über Jennifer
I am Jennifer, a passionate communicator and native English speaker, originally from Nigeria and currently living in Ilmenau, Germany. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication and am completing my Master's degree in Media Communication and Science at Technische Universität Ilmenau.
Having lived and studied in Germany, I understand firsthand how important language skills are for building confidence, connecting with people and achieving your goals, whether in school, at work or in everyday life.
I love working with people, and I genuinely enjoy the moment when a student understands something they previously found difficult. My approach is patient, encouraging and always focused on your individual progress. I believe that learning English should feel empowering — not stressful.
Outside of teaching, I am passionate about writing, communications and digital content, which means I bring strong real-world English skills to every lesson, not just textbook knowledge.

I am a native English speaker from Nigeria with a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication and a Master's degree in Media Communication and Science from TU Ilmenau, Germany. I have a strong command of the English language and a genuine passion for helping others communicate confidently and clearly.
My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs and goals. Whether you want to improve your conversational English, prepare for an exam, strengthen your professional writing or simply build your confidence speaking English — I will create a structured and supportive learning environment for you.
My teaching approach:
I begin every lesson by understanding your current level and specific goals
Lessons are interactive, practical and focused on real-life communication
I use a mix of conversation practice, grammar exercises, writing tasks and listening activities depending on what you need most
I give clear feedback and explain mistakes in a way that is easy to understand and remember
A typical lesson looks like this:
We start with a short warm-up conversation to get comfortable
We then focus on the topic or skill you want to work on that day
I give feedback throughout and we practice until you feel confident
At the end I give you a short task or tip to practice before the next lesson
