Über Amy
Im a fashion and textiles designer with 12+ years working in industry - I have lived in Germany for 8 years, before I lived in london and Brighton and originally from Chichester on the south coast - I have a big family back home - lots of nieces and nephews and have always spent lots of time around kids, I met my husband Mariano in my home town - we have been together a whopping 22 years and married for8 - I learned all of my Italian through him and his family, we travelled a lot there and his love for food and cooking always took us there.
So we took the leap and have been here ever since - we have two children almost 6 years apart and allthough we won’t stay here forever it’s currently home and we have adapted well to the socialist government here as it’s very pro people and employees.
In my spare time I like to walk a lot, I’m a passionate cook and really creative at home and big music lovers in our home.

Im going to write in English, I’m a native English speaker who has been living in Germany for 8 years, I also speak Italian but not native, I have had children here so allthough my German is nowhere near fluent I have a really good vocabulary and understanding Of German, I’m also very patient and intuitive with languages I am expanding my German with my daughter as she is attending her first year of grundschule, I can help with with speaking, confidence, pronunciation or starting out.
