Hi! My name is Isobel, I'm a musician and sound engineer from Manchester, England, and I've been living in Berlin for almost 6 years. I have a degree in History and English Literature from the University of Oxford, and love talking about books, music, and history. I'm a very open, chatty person, and love getting to know new people from all around the world. I would love to help you work on your English as we get to know each other! Before working as a musician, I spent 5 years in corporate communications for large tech companies. Because of this, I have a lot of experience in preparing for interviews (I used to train CEOs to speak to journalists!). I'm very happy to help you improve your professional English, and even practice for job interviews. I'm warm and friendly, and generally prefer to start with a conversation about you and your interests so we can get things flowing. We can have a discussion about which areas you want to work on, and how you like to be given feedback, to make sure you are learning in a way that works for you.
