Über Michaela
Hello! My name is Michaela, and I am a native English speaker from South Africa with five years of online teaching experience. I hold a 120-hour TEFL certification and am currently studying towards a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Psychology.
Over the years, I have taught children, teenagers and adults from different countries and cultural backgrounds. I particularly enjoy helping students become more confident speaking English naturally in real-life situations.
My teaching style is patient, supportive and conversational. I want you to feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and actually using English rather than worrying about being perfect.
Whether you need English for work, travel, study, an international environment or simply want to speak more confidently, I will adapt our lessons to your individual goals.

My lessons are designed around one simple goal: helping you use English confidently in real life.
Rather than following the same programme with every student, I adapt each lesson to your level, interests and goals. We can focus on conversational English, Business English, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, IELTS preparation or English for work and travel.
If your main goal is speaking, our lessons will include plenty of real conversation. I will help you express yourself more naturally, correct important mistakes, introduce useful vocabulary and phrases, and explain how native speakers would commonly say something in everyday English.
For Business English, we can practise meetings, presentations, interviews, emails, conversations with international colleagues and other situations relevant to your work.
Most importantly, my classroom is a relaxed environment. You do not need to be afraid of making mistakes — they are part of learning. You will leave each lesson knowing what you did well, what you can improve and what to practise next.
