I’m currently learning German, my fifth language, and let me tell you: it’s both a struggle and a joy. Anyone who says otherwise is just lying! Learning a new language, especially as an adult, is tough: emotionally more than cognitively. Because language is not "just another skill", it is deeply connected to identities and social recognition. "I am way smarter in my own language, and I am funnier, and nobody here will ever know that": that's a feeling I truly, deeply understand! And on top of that, progress isn’t linear: some days it feels like you're stuck on a steep uphill path, or worse, like you’ve forgotten everything you knew the week before. As someone who’s been there (and made it through!) and who’s going through it all over again, I understand exactly how it feels. That’s why I’m not just here to help you with grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary. I won't be your "Italian teacher" or just another "Italian tandem partner." I’m here to support you as a language-learning coach, someone who gets the emotional side and who knows how motivation plays a fundamental role in this journey.

I'm currently learning my fifth language, so I know firsthand the joys but also struggles of learning a new language... especially if you need it in your daily life! Having lived abroad for several years (now in Germany), I understand how language learning connects deeply with culture, confidence, and personal relationships. Whether you're starting from scratch, brushing up on your conversation skills for a trip to Italy, or you're a literature lover who dreams of reading Dante in the original language, I’m here to support you!
