Über Ida
Hi! I’m an 18-year-old native Swedish and English speaker who has recently moved to Austria, which is now the sixth country I have lived in. Growing up internationally has given me a real appreciation for different cultures and languages, and I understand what it is like to adapt to new countries, schools and languages.
I have been tutoring privately for the past three years and have experience tutoring within the Swedish school system across a range of subjects, from younger students through to the final year of gymnasium.
I’m friendly, outgoing and enjoy working with people of different ages and backgrounds. I especially enjoy helping students build their confidence and making learning feel approachable and enjoyable rather than stressful.

I have been working as a private tutor for the past three years and have experience tutoring students within the Swedish school system, from younger students all the way up to the final year of gymnasium. I have provided tutoring across a wide range of school subjects, which has given me experience adapting my teaching style to different ages, abilities and learning needs.
For Swedish lessons, I like to incorporate reading, listening, writing and conversation, as well as interactive exercises to make the lessons engaging and enjoyable. Each lesson is tailored to the individual student and their goals, whether they are learning Swedish from scratch, looking to improve their conversational skills, or need support with schoolwork, grammar, reading comprehension or writing.
I aim to create a relaxed and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and building their confidence in Swedish.
