Über Aris
I have been dancing Argentine Tango since 2007. Since then, I have taken lessons from various teachers and maestros, and gained precious experience by dancing in various places, as well as by teaching. I am still actively exploring the endless possibilities that this dancing style has to offer, and using my experience and scientific knowledge to develop new ways of sharing this passion with the rest of the world.

The didactic method makes use of the following elements:
Musicology, aiming for the awareness of various musical structures and their possible interpretations.
Biomechanics, aiming for a fundamental understanding of the limitations and abilities of our body.
Psychology, aiming for the awareness of our subjective motives and limitations to dance, and for the possibility to communicate our dancing intentions to our partner.
In the spirit of the above fields, both theoretical lectures and, especially, practical exercises and demonstrations are offered, with the effort to personalise them as far as possible to the particular class. The goal is not just to present a variety of steps that are to be applied mechanically by the students, but to provide them with the necessary skills to explore their individual possibilities and preferences, and eventually develop their own unique style!
